They're very helpful whenever you need something from very friendly. They have this turtle at the registration booth I thought was so cute I was hoping they let me take him home but they would not. It looks so real.

Mark and family are excellent, this was the second time in 7 years we made the journey from Alberta to Brandon for work. He has made some huge improvements since 2010 can't wait to go out there again. Beautiful campground.

Great accomodating very friendly staff, very clean hot showers, plugins, washrooms. outdoor pool, quite, take a walk along the river side, lots of wood for fires. spitting distance from big box stores and coffee shops if you need to pick up supplies or what not. Save money on gas, and wear and tare on your car. Rather then driving for miles, I paid $25 a night, (best sleep of my life there). And yes I will definitely go back there. Check this place out for sure.

Wrote the review up top last year 2016. Now it is 2017 and I just went back again, nothing has really changed as far as my review goes other than to say, the place just seems to get better. Staff super friendly and helpful, very very clean well kept sights and very nice clean washrooms and hot showers, beautiful place. I would still recommend this place to anyone good value, really hope they can keep the prices for tent camping to what they are now, excellent value, and I found it very quite and relaxing. I still would recommend this place to anyone visiting Brandon or just for a little getaway.

It is very exciting that our wonderful Curran Park newly named Turtle Crossing, has been resurected by super people who have certainly had some challenges taking this on.

Unfortunately for those who remember the great times of the Curran Park era this will never be. I understand keeping the previous buildings is cheaper compared to building new but the old buildings are outdated plus bring back fond memories of the times at Curran Park. It states basketball courts unless you want to traverse through dead fall and weeds/grass that are overgrown you'll be disappointed. $6 for wood that is arms length (unless like me have very long arms) you get 1 arms length and 6 pieces of wood for $12. I had stopped to ask Mark how much wood was and said I'd comeback to pay was told I was there so get it over with now. Proceeded to say after my "2 arms length 'of wood that they don't normally deliver and bring vehicle next time. When we got to our site my dad had said that the fire wood was nice, and good quality and our dog was barking as most dogs do. Well not sure if he told my dad or the dog to shut up but seeing as we were renters and first time at the facility I can say between what used to be a great place to what exists now, to Mark himself wont be back. Even went as far as to complain about why all the soccer players staying at park. Well next year when year end tournament takes place in Brandon will either stay home and drive back and forth or find another campground. $27/night for electricity
